About Arlene Collins
Arlene Collins is a New York based photographer who teaches master classes in her studio, is a private photography consultant and leads travel photography workshops around the world. She has led workshops to Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, China, India, Bhutan, Vietnam, Tibet and Cambodia. Her future international workshops include Mali, St. Petersburg and Kamchatka, in western Russia.
Currently she teaches at Parsons School of Design, the International Center of Photography, and the Maine Media Workshops. Internationally she has lectured at the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City, the Photography Center in Istanbul, Turkey and to the Burmese Photographic Society in Yangon, Myanmar.
As a private photography consultant she specializes in location lighting using portable strobes, Nikon and Canon wireless multi-strobe set-ups, night and low light photography, and she is available for portfolio consultation.
